Description
Català: La Tèrmica, central de producció elèctrica, avui arxiu municipal. Generava electricitat a partir del vapor d'aigua que s'obtenia mitjançant l'escalfament de l'aigua amb carbó com a combustible. Va ser construïda entre l'any 1925 i 1930 per l'arquitecte modernista municipal Josep Domènech Mansana. L'edifici destaca per les grans arcades que s'obren a les façanes i pel dipòsit cilíndric disposat sobre un alt pilar de carreus de granit. Ubicada a Sant Celoni (Vallès Oriental)
English: La Tèrmica, the thermal, electrical power production, municipal archives today. Generating electricity from water vapor obtained by heating water with coal as fuel. It was built between 1925 and 1930 by local modernist architect Josep Domenech Mansana. Notable features large arches that open to walls and the cylindrical tank placed on a high pillar of granite blocks.Located in Sant Celoni (Catalonia)
