Español: La segunda estelación del dodecaedro está representada por el dodecaedro estrellado Davinciano.
Este poliedro fue pintado en 1498 por el excelentísimo pintor Leonardo da Vinci y en el 1508 fue publicado en el libro la divina proporción de Luca Pacioli. El dodecaedro estrellado Davinciano es un poliedro estrellado regular, debido a que todas sus caras están compuestas por triángulos equiláteros o deltaedro, todos los vértices de acuerdo a sus categorías son uniformes y todas las aristas también son uniformes. El dodecaedro estrellado Davinciano, está compuesto por un dodecaedro regular y 12 pirámides pentagonales de Johnson J3. Las caras poliédricas pentagonales de las 12 pirámides J3, son iguales, a las 12 caras poliédricas del dodecaedro regular seleccionado. Luego procedemos a ensamblar las 12 pirámides J3, en las caras del dodecaedro regular convexo y el resultado es un dodecaedro estrellado Davinciano. Este poliedro Davinciano posee 60 caras triangulare equiláteras o deltaedricas. Además tiene 60 aristas exteriores y 30 aristas intermedias, para un total de 90 aristas. Ostenta 20 vértices intermedios y 12 vértices exteriores para un total de 32 vértices. El dodecaedro estrellado Davinciano en el conjunto de los poliedros que están formados por caras triangulares, ocupa la posición # 29 (L=29, A=3L+3, V=L+3 y C=2L+2), de acuerdo a las sucesiones poliédricas triangulares del Dominicano Jose Joel Leonardo. C=2L+2, C= 2(29)+2 =58+2=60, C=60 A=3L+3. A=3(29)+3, A=87+3= 90, A=90 V=L+3 = 29+3=32, V=32 |
