Français : Ce calvaire érigé en 1874 porte l’inscription suivante en allemand « O Jésus Barmherzigheit. O Maria, bitte für uns. Errichtet durch N. Beckerich u. M. Lamy 1874” (O Jésus, miséricorde, O Marie, priez pour nous, érigé par…”)
Le calvaire est sculpté en imitation d’un tronc d’arbre recouvert de son écorce. À mi-hauteur du tronc est creusée une petite niche pouvant abriter une statue, sans doute une piéta. La croix qui se trouvait en 1874 complètement en dehors de toute agglomération tire son nom du fait qu’elle s’élevait près de la maison BICKEL, le garde-chasse de Von Grafenstein. |
