Deutsch: Diese ältesten Steinskulpturen Westfalens waren wohl am Äußeren der Mauritzkirche angebracht. Eine Frau (Maria?), der Kirchenpatron Mauritius und ein weiterer Ritter. Gemeinsam mit anderen Heiligen sollten sie das Gotteshaus beschützen.
English: Three reliefs of saints from St. Mauritz Church in Münster. These are the oldest Westphalian stone sculptures. A woman (Mary?), the church's patron Saint Maurice and another knight. Along with other saints, were there to protect the church. |
