English: An incomplete blue glass bead of an Oldbury type. The object is bun shaped and is decorated with three white swirls. Only one half of the bead survives however it appears to be a modern break. The object appears to be capped, ie different glass on the outside and on the core, which is quite rare. The bead can be classified as Guideo Class 6, M.Guido, The Glass Beads of the Prehistoric and Roman Periods in Britain and Ireland (1978)53-57 and 112-117(schedules).
