Description
English: LORETTA WAS BUILT IN THE EARLY 19TH CENTURY BY FRANCES EDMONDS, WIDOW OF COL. ELIAS EDMONDS WHO SERVED DURING THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR.  THE HOME WAS ORIGINALLY CALLED “EDMONIUM” IN HONOR OF COL. EDMONDS.  BETWEEN 1907 AND 1908, LORETTA WAS RENOVATED, DOUBLING ITS ORIGINAL SIZE AND TRANSFORMING IT INTO A COLONIAL REVIVAL STYLE MANSION.
