Description

It has been at Eastleigh Works since 11 December 2023 for repairs to the fatigue cracks in the aluminium vehicle body shells above the bogies.

In early 2022, fatigue cracks were found close to the yaw damper bracket and anti-roll bar fixing points.

Eastleigh Works have been carrying out the repairs and is expected to take 8 to 10 years to repair the entire class.
