Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Impressions from the LFG-Con in the Freiheitshalle in Hof (Saale). Here you can see a laptop at the municipal stand of the digitalization of the Hofer Land. Here it was shown what can be done with a digital twin of the Hofer Land (analysis of danger from flooding or placing fictitious houses in the digital terrain to see what it would look like). We also talked about data protection. It was criticized that, on the one hand, the rules are very strict (low (pixel) sampling of flights (1 pixel per 20 cm)). Also, the data processing of roof shapes should not be possible, as this would fall under the processing of personal data. Google does not have to comply with such high data protection hurdles, which is absurd, as the local authority is the landowner or managing body in several cases. Digital-savvy and progressive employees at the local authority are therefore frustrated. Neighboring countries are nowhere near as restrictive. The raw data volume is around 170 GB (of which around 960 photos × approx. 130 MB per photo (RAW) + 44 videos at 200 Mbit/s).
