Description
Español: LEPUM

El laboratorio Especializado en Procesos de Unión y Manufactura (LEPUM) es especialista en el análisis numérico computacional, específicamente en el uso de software de elementos finitos aplicado a la investigación y desarrollo en el área de la Ingeniería Mecánica y Naval. Historia del LEPUM El LEPUM fue creado en Septiembre del 2009 por el Doctor Adán Vega, quien en conjunto con un grupo de estudiantes inician proyectos de investigación y desarrollo en el área de formado metálico y. 

Meses después el LEPUM cuenta con tres profesores y cuatro estudiantes quienes le dedican gran parte de su tiempo a los proyectos de investigación y desarrollo que manejamos. Adicional se desarrollan un importante número de tesis y prácticas profesionales asesoradas por nuestro grupo.

Misión y visión

En el LEPUM trabajamos día a día para convertirnos en un modelo de institución en donde se desarrollan capacidades tanto científicas como técnicas que nos permitan convertirnos en el referente de la industria tanto nacional como internacional.
