Description LC-DIG-DET-4a14165: US Navy protected cruiser, USS Chicago, one of the crew next to one of the 4 eight-inch guns. Published by Detroit Publishing, possibly between 1890 and 1901. Chicago was one of the first steel warships of the “New Navy.” (5/29/2015).
