After the Future Forum event, Secretary Albright spoke to students at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Women in leadership was the topic of a conversation with former Secretary of State and U.N. Ambassador Madeleine Albright and Krys Boyd, host and managing editor of KERA FM's flagship talk show Think, on Friday morning, October 27th, 2017 at the LBJ Presidential Library. The event was open to members of Future Forum. Secretary Albright's appearance marked the opening of a special exhibition, Read My Pins: The Madeleine Albright Collection, on view at the LBJ Library from Oct. 28, 2017 through Jan. 21, 2018. The exhibition showcases more than 200 beautiful pins and brooches that Albright wore as a diplomat as a visual way to express her messages. 10/27/2017 LBJ Library photo by Jay Godwin |
