LANCUM-180CF2: Roman Samian ware vessel fragment
Description
English: Very small piece of Roman Samian ware dating from the Roman period, i.e. AD43-410. The fragment comes from the rim of a plain vessel, possibly as shallow bowl, e.g. Dragendorff 32 or 40 which are very common amongst the Samian forms found in the North of Britain.
