Description

1970 Ford Escort MkI in heat 1 of the 2014 CRAA classic race in Aarhus.

Race results in 2014 event: Training (fri.): 1 (of 39) Qualifying (sat.): 3 (of 38) Heat 1 (sat): 1 (of 34) Heat 2 (sun.): 1 (of 34) Heat 3 (sun.): 1 (of 30) Combined: 1 (of 37)

After winning all 3 heats, Klaus Bodilsen walked away with the overall crown this year.

The 1971-class is always one of the most crowded classes at CRAA and often the first to have a full entry-list. Resultwise it tends to be dominated by MkI Ford Escorts in general and two drivers, Klaus Bodilsen and Benny Rasmussen, in particular. That is not to say, that the races are boring - with close to 40 cars on a narrow street cicuit, intense action is always guaranteed.
