Description

1986 Reynard SF86 FF2000 in heat 1 of the Historic Formula class of the 2014 CRAA classic race in Aarhus.

Race results in 2014 event: Training (fri.): 3 (of 11) Qualifying (sat.): 1 (of 11) Heat 1 (sat): 2 (of 11) Heat 2 (sun.): 2 (of 11) Heat 3 (sun.): 3 (of 10) Combined: 1 (of 11)

Overall winner of the historic formula class, Finn Ebbesen, despite a scare in heat 1 (this one) when he hit the back of Niels Jørgen Jørgensens #3 car during a hectic dogfight, resulting in a bent front wing.

Despite of the damages, Ebbesen was able to bring the car home in 2nd place and with most of the other contenders suffering from reliability problems over the weekend, Ebbesen's 2nd and 3rd places in heats 2 and 3 were good enough to secure the overall win.
