Description
Français : Ligne Poitiers-La Rochelle à Nanteuil (79), vers pk 47,5.

En arrivant d'est nous sommes presque au bout du tronçon à voie unique, débuté 25 km plus tôt en sortie de gare de Lusignan (86).

Eléments de signalisation visibles, depuis passage à niveau:

  • repère kilométrique ciment sur la gauche, au centre de l'image
  • derrière, la cible lumineuse ronde présente un feu jaune fixe
  • la courbe d'arrivée sur la gare de St-Maixent, distante d'environ 2 500 m, est annoncée par un mirliton; dans l'axe de la borne kilométrique enfin, encadrée par la végétation, indication de vitesse sous forme de TIV losange 120
Bien qu'il y eût dans l'histoire récente, des projets pour que cette relation retrouve sa 2ème voie déposée il y a bien longtemps, faute de trafic significatif, les choses semblent être à l'arrêt...
