Description
Deutsch: Zwischen Val d’Illiez und Champéry, mit Hilfe der Zahnstange wird die letzte Talschwelle vor Champéry überwunden. Erst 2016 wurde die Strecke Monthey-Ville–Champéry vom Zahnstangensystem Strub auf Abt umgestellt. Die Beschleunigungslamelle am Beginn der Zahnstangeneinfahrt ist eine vergleichsweise neue Einrichtung, sie wurde von der Bauart Marfurt übernommen.
Daneben steht das Endsignal für Zahnstangenabschnitt in seiner französischen Ausführung mit »F« für fin, in deutschsprachigen Gebieten wird ein »E« für Ende genutzt.
