Description
Deutsch: Bis 2020 war die Kirche tatsächlich die Kirche des Franziskanerklosters. Der Orden kehrte hierher nach der Säkularisation 1814 erst 1920 zurück. Das Kloster wurde wegen Nachwuchsmangel aufgegeben.
Blick auf die Westfassade zur Franziskanerstraße, die Kirche ist eine dreischiffige Hallenkirche. Nach einem Bombentreffer am 8. April 1945 wurde das Kirchenschiff erst ab 1961 (oder 1981) wiederaufgebaut und 1985 erneut geweiht.
