Summary
[edit]DescriptionL01 455 Bf Alexanderplatz (Al), Kehranlage.jpg |
English: From the platform in the direction of Hönow to the southwest, originally a reversing and stabling facility with four tracks for the line U5, previously E and the planned line F to Weißensee was located at this point. The further construction to the main station and further plans for a line U3, previously U10, led to extensive changes. The two middle tracks are the mainline tracks to the main station. The outer tracks lead to a new, four-track stabling facility under the new Rotes Rathaus (RHO) station. Should one of the U3 plans be realized, this hall will be extended to the lower platform level RHU. The ramp to the RHO platform is visible in the background. Up to the beginning of the platform of the new station Rotes Rathaus at the level of Jüdenstraße, the tunnel structure had already been built in the 1920s, which can still be recognized by the riveted ceiling girders. |
