Description
Deutsch: Am Beginn der Calle Volto, die von der Piazzale Roma zum Ufer des Canal Grande führt. Das Verbot, Fahrräder im Stadtgebiet mitzuführen, wurde etwa 2019 erlassen, um die Altstadt zu entlasten. Man muss aber annehmen, dass hier nur Aktivität demonstriert werden soll, um den eigentlichen Problemverursachern Kraftverkehr und Kreuzfahrttourismus nicht wehzutun. Das Schieben eines Fahrrades war in den Jahren zuvor in der Regel kein Problem.

Es gibt in einem nahen Parkhaus eine Fahrradabteilung, doch ist die Handhabung mit Mobiltelefon und SMS bzw e-Mail unnötig kompliziert und mit 5 Euro Mindestpreis auch unverhältnismäßig teuer. Dabei ist von einer Fahrradinvasion von Venedig bisher nichts bekannt geworden.

Die drastischen Strafen stehen ebenfalls in keinem Verhältnis zu möglichen Schäden, doch ist die ganze Geschichte ohnehin absurd.
