Plateau-Mont-Royal, Montréal Peinture murale, Festival MURAL Inspirée par l’environnement du parc Laurier, situé en face de l’immeuble qui accueille la murale, une série de personnages oniriques s’adonnent à une danse festive et musicale où s’entremêlent des formes aux allures d’instruments de musique. Des extraits des paroles de la chanson « Pourquoi chanter » de Louise Forestier, résidente de l’immeuble, sont inscrites sur certains personnages. Ce geste artistique, de l’artiste de renommée internationale Carlito Dalceggio, donne vie au secteur, tout en rehaussant l’attrait des lieux, en incitant les passants à emprunter la ruelle verte, et en offrant aux résidents et aux citoyens un accès privilégié au processus créatif. Carlito Dalceggio est né à Montréal, mais ses influences sont diverses. De Bali à New York, en passant par l’Inde ou le Mexique, chacune de ces villes alimente sa création artistique et l’amène à pousser plus loin son sens de l’esthétique. Citoyen du monde et nomade des temps modernes, Carlito recherche l’unité parfaite entre l’art et la vie.
