Description

Au fond, dans la salle côté rue, les oeuvres : "la Nuit" et "Figurine entre deux maisons" ; au premier plan dans la salle traversante, "les places"

L’œuvre la plus célèbre de Giacometti, l’Homme qui marche, plus qu’un chef- d’œuvre, est une icône de l’art du XXe siècle. Cette exposition réunit pour la première fois les différents modèles grandeur nature, ainsi que la plupart des variations sculptées et dessinées. Accompagnée de nombreux documents et dessins inédits, elle retrace la généalogie du motif, depuis la Femme qui marche de la période surréaliste, jusqu’aux icônes créées en 1959-1960...
