Vue du Château de Mouans-Sartoux Le château a été édifié au début du XVIème siècle (1504-1510) Son plan initial triangulaire a été préservé À gauche, devant l'enceinte du château, sculpture de Gottfried Honegger : "Division 10", 1988, en granit Bianco sardo. L'Espace de l'Art Concret (EAC) a été hébergé lors de sa création en 1990 dans le château de Mouans-Sartoux qui venait d'être racheté par la ville. Depuis sa création, le pari de l'EAC est toujours de placer l'art au coeur de la vie en soulignant l'importance de l'éducation du regard notamment des enfants. Pour développer cette politique de médiation à travers des ateliers pédagogiques, un bâtiment a été construit dans le parc du château par l'architecte Marc Barani et inauguré en 1998. Sybil Albers et Gottfried Honegger, à l'origine du projet collectif de l'EAC, ont fait don de leur collection d'Art Concret à l'État (CNAP) en 2000. Dans le parc du château, un nouveau bâtiment conçu par les architectes Mike Guyer et Annette Gigon a été inauguré en 2004 pour présenter la collection ainsi que des expositions temporaires.
