Description
Centsprent met een litho, bestaande uit 4 rijen met in totaal 14 omkaderde afbeeldingen. Een Oosterse prins, Omar, beheert een stad waar hij een sterke dijk om heeft gebouwd, die met een sleutel wordt gesloten. De naburige koning Guzman is jaloers. Omar is trots en gooit een heilige man die kritiek op hem geeft buiten. Guzman steelt de sleutel, opent de dijk en een overstroming volgt. Omar en zijn dochter vluchten en vervallen tot armoede. Bevat onderschriften in Frans en Nederlands.
