English: Tianshan mountains south of Bishkek. At night you can see from here the groundfire of Manas International Airport. Airport code FRU stands for Frunse which is the old name of Bishkek from communist times. I have been told that there are more horses than human beings in Kyrgyzstan.
Deutsch: Die kirgisischen (Wild) Pferde beherrschen übrigens den Tölt:
Der Tölt ist eine Spezialgangart, die für den Reiter besonders angenehm und rückenschonend ist. Im Gegensatz zu Trab und Galopp hat Tölt keine Schwebephase, sondern ist eine gelaufene Gangart. Der Reiter sitzt fast erschütterungslos auf einem locker schwingenden Rücken. Tölt hat, abhängig von der Ganglage und Ausbildung des Pferdes, eine hohe Tempovarianz zwischen Schritt- und Galopptempo. Die Fußfolge ist im Tölt dieselbe wie im Schritt: hinten links, vorne links, hinten rechts, vorne rechts. Der Tölt und der Schritt sind Gangarten im Viertakt mit acht Phasen. Anders als beim Schritt wechseln sich im Tölt jedoch Ein- und Zweibeinstützen ab.
