Description
Deutsch: Kursächsische Ganzmeilensäule Adorf
  • Postmeilensäule Elsterstraße, Bezeichnet mit 1725, Kopie einer Kursächsischen Ganzmeilensäule aus Sandstein mit den Inschriften, „Oelsnitz 3 St.“, „Wildstein 5 St.“, „Eger 3 St.“. Auf Vorder- und Rückseite sind das „AR-Monogramm“, 1725 und Posthorn eingemeißelt. Seitlich ist die Reihennummer 76 aufgebracht. Adorf war Ausgangspunkt von Verkehrsstraßen über das Elstergebirge nach Süden, weshalb der Ganzmeilensäule eine verkehrshistorisch hohe Bedeutung zukommt.
