Denkmal der Kurfürstin Louise Henriette auf dem Schloßplatz der Stadt Oranienburg

Die 2,50 m hohe nach dem Modell des Bildhauers Wolff 1858 in Zink gegossene Hohlplastik mit quadratischem Sockel besteht aus vielen zusammengelöteten Formteilen, die zum Teil mit dem Edelstahlstützgerüst (seit 1999) verbunden sind. Die Oberfläche erhielt 1858 eine galvanische Kupferbeschichtung, die bis 1997 in einem unterschiedlichen verschlissenen fragmentarischen Erhaltungszustand überliefert war. Die 2011 erneuerte Patinierungsfassung zeigt ein Kupfer-Bronzestandbild in einer nuancenreichen ausdrucksstarken Alterungsästhetik mit Berücksichtigung des Standortes des Betrachters, der Lichtverhältnisse und der Symbolbedeutung. Grundlage der rekonstruierten Imitationspatinierung auf dem Zinkgussanstrichträger war eine Interpretationsanalyse der bräunlichen Patinierungen des 19. Jahrhunderts in den mittleren Farbtonwerten, die vergleichsweise auch an unterschiedlich gealterten Kupfermünzen nachvollziehbar ist. Das künstlerische Patinieren als Stilmittel in differenzierten Abstufungen mit schimmerndem metallischem Glanz von Braun-, Kupfer- bis Goldtönen bewirkt an dem Standbild eine andere Dimension und ergänzt, was der Bildhauer mit seinen formalen Möglichkeiten nicht erreichen konnte. Das sind beispielsweise die unterschiedlichen Reliefakzentuierungen der reichen Fältelungen des Kleides und des kurfürstlich-königlichen Mantels mit seiner Hermelinverbrämung mit weitem Kragen und Schwanztupfen sowie der Schmuck, die Haartracht mit herabfallenden Seitenlocken, die Zierelemente des Diadem oder die Schrift der Stiftungsurkunde für das Waisenhaus in Oranienburg.
