Summary
[edit]DescriptionKubota Garden (5536188249).jpg |
The entrance gate for Kubota Garden, located in the southern portions of Seattle in a residential area. The garden was originally started in 1927 by a Japanese immigrant by the name of Fujitaro Kubota. It had to be abandoned during World War II when Kubota was sent off to the internment camps, but was revived after the war. Since 1987, Kubota Garden has been run by Seattle Parks Department with the help of a nonprofit foundation. |
