Prinsens gate 51 ved krysset Dronningens gate / Prinsens gate i 1944. Eggengården. Det har vært flere eiere av gården, men A. Eggen grunnla en jernvarehandel som fremdeles ligger her. Kunstmaleren Annar Eggen (1897 - 1977) hadde sitt atelier i gården.

Klæburutens 1937 REO Speed Wagon buss. E. Parow (se over butikkvinduet innenfor bussen) drev bilforretning i Trondheim før og under krigen.

Eggen, A., A/S (Prinsensgt. 51, tlf. 115) er grunnlagt i 1861 av A. E. I 1907 blev forretningen overtatt av sønnen, Olaf E., og i 1932 gikk firmaet over til aksjeselskap med en kapital på kr. 12 000, og med Alfred E., sønn av O. E., som disponent og enebestyrer. Virksomheten omfatter salg av jernvarer, bygningsartikler, kjøkkenutstyr og verktøi, og firmaet beskjeftiger 5 personer.
