Soldaten geselen en bespotten Christus. Hij wordt gevolgd door Maria. Daarachter de rechter Pilatus op zijn paard. Links van de voorstelling wordt een van de andere misdadigers geboeid naar Golgota geleid. Op de achtergrond in het landschap de drie kruisen. Onder de voorstelling twee vierregelige verzen in het Latijn en een verwijzing naar de Bijbeltekst in Luc. 23 en Mat. 27. De prent maakt deel uit van een album.
