Description
Deutsch: Wappenstein der französischen Stadt Hennebont vor dem Neuen Rathaus am Marktplatz in Kronach. Der Stein wurde der Stadt Kronach am 3. Mai 1986 von einer Sportlergruppe aus Hennebont überreicht, die zuvor einen Staffellauf aus der französischen Stadt nach Kronach veranstaltet hatte. Anlass für den Lauf waren Bedenken, die man in der Kronacher Stadtführung aufgrund der vergleichsweise großen Entfernung von rund 1300 km gegenüber einer Städtepartnerschaft mit Hennebont hegte. Die Partnerschaft zwischen den beiden Städten wurde schließlich am 31. August 1990 offiziell beurkundet.
