Description
Deutsch: Das Bild zeigt den Gedenkstein in Erinnerung an das Grubenunglück vom 28. Mai 1921 in Kriebitzsch nahe Altenburg. Infolge eines Unwetters kam es in der Braunkohlen-Tiefbaugrube "Agnes & Ida" zu einem Wassereinbruch, der 17 Bergleute in den Tod riss. Es war das schwerste Grubenunglück im Meuselwitz-Rositzer-Revier.
English: This image shows the memorial place in memory of the mining disaster in Kriebitzsch near Altenburg, Germany on the 28. May 1921. A storm flooded the "Agnes & Ida" mine and killed 17 miners. It was the worst disaster in the mining region around Altenburg and Meuselwitz.
