Description
Deutsch: Seit der benachbarte Vogelpark am Krater 2015 geschlossen wurde, wirkt die Umgebung des Naturdenkmals Krater am Galgenbrink etwas vernachlässigt. Der "Krater" ist ein von einem tuffsteinartigen Ringwall umgebener Quellteich. Die konservierende Wirkung des sauerstoffarmen Kalkwassers verleitete seit dem 19. Jahrhundert dazu, Blumengestecke im Krater zu versenken, die dort ihr frisches Aussehen über Monate behielten.
