English: Kraphao mu krop is crispy belly pork (mu krop: cooked, marinated, then grilled and finally deep-fried pork) stir fried with one of the Thai basils (bai kraphao), chillies, soy sauce, garlic and (sometimes) a bit of oyster sauce. Here it is served with a mixture of Thai jasmine rice and a nutty tasting black rice. |
