Description
English: One of some pictures of what is the "best side" of the castle. In the outer wall we see the square tower to the right, with on either side a round tower from the age of Baybars. Behind these rises the steep glacis to the south, with on its left side the south-western inner tower for officers and the commander, with to its right the keep or donjon. Almost hidden behind the square tower is the southeastern and, like the donjon, very strong inner tower. Along the west side of the inner fortress we see, at its end, the window of a squarish building on top of the north tower. On some pictures the aqueduct is visible in front of it all.
