Italiano: Koto-in, tsukubai - tempio Koto-in di Kyoto. Lo tsukubai è un bacino di pietra dove ci si può aspergere con acqua. La foglia che giace sul fondo è di momiji, l'acero giapponese sempre presente nei giardini e nei templi, particolarmente ricercato per il piacevole effetto che forma la luce trasparendo tra le foglie. Ochiba (foglie cadute) è un'immagine cara alla cultura giapponese che rispecchia il concetto di aware o malinconia legata all'impermanenza. Anche nelle composizioni Ikebana si usa talvolta aggiungere all'esterno del vaso alcune foglie "cadute". |
