Former Salesian building (complex). ~ John Bosco Salesian Convent and Parish and Oratory and .... At the south wing is a John Bosco statue made based on the designs of the painter István Nagyistók, made of artificial stone by sculptor Lajos Kovács (1937 works) Three groundfoor and one storey wing(s)/building(s) built in varied style. Based on old postcard at least two of thes built in 1937. Religious mural can be see above the street entry of the north wing 'Salisian Oratorium' - 41 Kossuth Lajos‎ Street, Balassagyarmat, Nógrád County, Hungary.

A Don Bosco János templomtól délre két teljesen eltérő épület egy magasföldszinte saaroképület elhagytottnak tünik a templom melletti egyemeletes épületen 2022-ben plábánia és rndház feliratos tábale kollégium is volt? Az udvarán 2022-ben játszótér vélhetően részben a Szent Imre Katolikus Általános Iskola része/használatában. Homlokzaton Don Boscó Szent János szobra (Avatás 1937., Nagyistók István festőművész tervei alapján, Kovács Lajos szobrász készítette műkőből)[2] A szobor életnagyságú, a szentet imádkozás közben alázatosan előrehajolva, ábrázolta a szobrász, feje felett fém glória látható. A templomtól északr egy másik földszintes épület bejárata felett vallásos témájú festés/freskó? Szalézi oratórium felirattal. 'Szalézi Szt. Ferenc rend temploma az oratóriummal és a kollégium' néven helyi egyedi védelem alatt azonosító:-1143- Nógrád megye, Balassagyarmat, Kossuth Lajos út/utca 41 (Ady Endre utca sarok) helyrajzi szám: 1666, 1667
