Description
English: Kornbühl, Swabian Alb, near Tübingen. A hillock with a layer of sediments on top harder than limestone (fossil siliceous sponges). The pilgrimage chapel (Salmendinger Kapelle) is at least 500 years old.
Deutsch: Kornbühl mit Salmendiger Wallfahrts-Kapelle St. Anna, nahe am Albtrauf der Mittleren Schwäbischen Alb. Die nahezu runde Erhebung ist ein Härtling. Die Kuppe besteht aus erosionsresistenteren Silikatsedimenten (Schwammriff).
Typisch der von Schafen beweidete Südhang mit dem Vegetationskomplex aus Wacholderheide, Halbtrockenrasen und Dornstrauch-Gebüschen. Artenreiche Flora und Fauna.
