Korail Temple stay Train Songgwangsa Temple Daewoongbojeon(Main Buddha Hall) : The current Daewoongbojeon(main buddha hall) is a reconstruction built in 1988 during the 8th renovations to the temple after original was lost in a fire in 1951. Desiring to find salvation in the three worlds(past, present, future), the Daewoongbojeon(main buddha hall) holds the Buddhas of the three state of existence(the past, present, and future) and Bodhisattvas are located on either side of each Buddha. The Songgwangsa Daewoongbojeon(main buddha hall) is deemed an example of excellence in the field of modern tratitional Korean architecture, owing to its unique form and murals.
