Notes Doublures of red goatskin. Sewing and spine missing. With cut out compartments over gold decorated coloured paper. It looks as if the ms is bound in brown goatskin, painted with a border to surround a panel of decorated paper pasted on to the centres of the covers. Macchi states: filigree binding. Pencil ms note "ms written for Princess Jehanaru, daughter of Shah Jahan.
