Description
English: Cobblestone road under bridge 'Weidenhäuser Brücke' with rised level of water in river bed, end of Winter 2016-2017 in Hesse (Germany). Normal for this season after rainfall and melting snow in Rothaar Mountains, Vogelsberg Mountains or Burgwald upstream. Only in times of floods in river Lahn, cycling route Lahntalradweg is blocked here, with some alternative roads (with automobile traffic!) in the city Marburg to pass here.
Deutsch: Der mit Kopfsteinen gepflasterte Weg unter der Weidenhäuser Brücke mit etwas erhöhtem Wasserspiegel in der Lahn nach einigen Tagen Regenwetter und Schneeschmelze in den Bergen weiter oberhalb. Der Lahntalradweg ist nur am Rand etwas feucht, kann bei Hochwasser hier in Marburg allerdings überschwemmt sein - hier im Stadtgebiet mit Alternativen über wegen des Autoverkehrs laute Strassen, an anderer Stelle etwa talabwärts Richtung Giessen nur mit längeren Umwegen auf Landstrassen passierbar.
