Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This image derives from possible Serer pictography. It was used by the Serer-Saafi and the Serer-Sine people among other branches of the Serer ethnic group. The name of this symbol is "Kooh", which symbolizes the Supreme Deity in the Serer-Noon language (or "Noon", the Serer Noon people), also called Kokh-Kox. The Serer Sine call the Supreme Deity "Rog Sene". Both the Noon and the Serer-Sine ("Seex") are ethnically Serers. The former speak one of the Cangin languages whilst the later speaks the Serer-Sine language.
