Deutsch: Der Konradfels ist eine Felslnadel aus dem fluvial (Lenninger Lauter) erodierten Steilhang des Plateaus der Schwäbischen Alb zwischen Grabenstetten und Oberlenningen. Die Felsnadel besteht aus den grauen, kompaktierten, verbackenen Vulkaniten eines Schlotrestes des „Schwäbischen Vulkans“. Von den bisher 355 gefundenen Vulkanresten des „Urach-Kirchheimer Vulkangebiets“ ragen nur in sehr wenigen Fällen Schlotreste aus der Oberfläche heraus. English: Top of Konradfels, Middle Schwäbische Alb. Compacted, cemented volcanic rock, rest of a volcanic pipe of a phreatomagmatic volcano of the “Urach-Kirchheimer Vulkangebiet” (german wikipedia: “de:Schwäbischer Vulkan”). The not gray fragments within the mass of tuff are non volcanic Xenolithes, mostly White Jurassic of the Alb’s plateau. |
