Omschrijving: De profeet Gad instrueert koning David. Op de dorsvloer van de Jebusiet Arauna heeft koning David een altaar gebouwd. Hij zit geknield voor het altaar en offert er runderen in de hoop een plaag te stoppen die het land teistert. Achter Gad vliegt de engel des doods die de pest veroorzaakte. Op de achtergrond een vlakte, bezaaid met slachtoffers van de pest. Verbeelding van de Bijbeltekst in 2 Sam. 24.
