Description
Deutsch: Diese Postkarte vom Südflügel des Schlosses Marienburg wurde um 1920 gedruckt. Als Vorlage der Postkarte diente eine kolorierte Radierung, die möglicherweise schon im letzten Drittel des 19. Jahrhunderts entstanden ist.
Date Die Postkarte entstand etwa 1920. Die dafür verwendete kolorierte Radierung kann aber am Anfang des letzten Drittel des 19. Jahrhunderts entstanden sein, als die Wege und Grünanlagen außerhalb der Marienburg noch gepflegt waren. Eine ähnliche Ansicht findet sich in einem Aquarell von H. Kretschmer, das um 1864 entstanden ist und das ebenfalls gepflegte Wege und Grünanlagen außerhalb der Marienburg zeigt.
Source Kolorierte Postkarte vom Südflügel des Schlosses Marienburg. Text auf der Bildseite: "Schloß Marienburg b Nordstemmen Südflügel." Texte auf der Anschriftenseite: "C. T. M. Nr. 10567." und "Verlag A. Alves, Waldwirtschaft, Marienberg. Fernruf Amt Nordstemmen 48." Der Schulenburger Gastwirt und Waldbesitzer Albert Alves erbaute seine Waldwirtschaft noch vor der Grundsteinlegung der Marienburg auf eigenem Grund und Boden im "Schulenburger Wald". Die Eröffnung der Waldgaststätte fand am Pfingstsonntag 1857 statt. Für den Verkauf von Postkarten in seiner Waldwirtschaft gründete er einen eigenen Verlag, in dem diese Postkarte erschienen ist.
