Description
English: Known by heart, Argentinean army Adjutant Sargent Guillermo Manente closed his eyes and trumpeted a soulful and respectful rendition of Taps during a memorial service at Camp General Belgrano. Some 50 of the several hundred U.S. troops still in Salta, Argentina attended the service. All await transportation home after Cabañas 2001, a multinational peacekeeping exercise ended Sept. 11, 2001. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Lance Cheung).
