| Description |
English: Knettishall Airstrip Taken from a model aircraft with a Flycam One II, this is the junction between two of the old main runways of the Flying Fortress base. The grass on the right of the roadway remains an active airstrip, with full size aircraft stored in the shed here, and the one at the end of the strip. At top right are some trucks parked near the remaining hangar, used as a store.
I'm the model pilot, wearing blue and white, while my friend acts as lookout for full size planes. The cleaner marks left by the sliding cars of boy-racers are visible on the concrete. |
