Knee bow brooch
Description
English: Fragment, cast copper-alloy knee brooch. Short, cylindrical wings, cylindrical head surmounted by a small loop. Endplates housing missing spring and pin. The endplates are pierced and one retains part of the central axial bar. Only the upper bow is intact. There are at least four triangular and sub-triangular cells on either side of the bow; no trace of enamelling survives. Smooth, brown patina.
