[edit]DescriptionKloster Eberbach Dormitorium Natamartchouk.jpg |
Siehe also https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kloster_EberbachEnglish: Eberbach Abbey - Monks' Dormitory
The dormitory, that is, the monks' sleeping hall, was the common sleeping quarters of the community of monks. In early times the monks slept in this unheated room on wooden beds wearing only their habits. Nevertheless, the night rest didn't last long, as normally shortly after midnight the monks were called into the monastery church for the first choir prayer.
