Description
Deutsch: Erstmals erwähnt wurde der Hof im Süden von Spittal, in Kleinsaß im Jahr 1559. Er gehörte damals dem Grafengeschlecht der Ortenburger. Um 1600 wurde der „Kleine Sitz“ an Hans Kleinsasser übergeben und so zum „Kleinsasserhof “. 1735 heiratete Margarethe Kleinsasser Thomas Gasser.

Bis 1946 waren alle Gassers Vollerwerbsbauern.

1986 übernahmen Waltraud und Josef Gasser den Hof. Seit 1991 wurde der Besitz nach ihren Vorstellungen verändert und wird seither als Hotel- und Genussrestaurant und einer Verbindung aus Kunst und Kulinarik betrieben.
