Description
Deutsch: Hellere Kopie und Ausschnitt eines Fotos, kopiert aus den Sammlungen des Museums Rotterdam. Das Originalbild wurde auf Wikimedia Commons hier übertragen. Das Museum gibt Informationen wie folgt an: Kleines Heft (Informationsbroschüre 10 x 14 cm) mit Fraktur-Schrift "Deutsche Uniformen" auf dem Umschlag, das alle Uniformen der uniformierten Dienste des nationalsozialistischen Deutschlands vor und während des Zweiten Weltkriegs zeigt, veröffentlicht von Moritz Ruhl Verlag, Leipzig zwischen 1936 und 1945.

  • Plate 13: Uniforms and rank insignia of the Reich Labour Service (Reichsarbeitsdienst; RAD)
    • Service dress. An earth brown paramilitary RAD uniform was implemented in 1934; beside the swastika brassard, the RAD symbol, an arm badge in the shape of an upward pointing shovel blade, was displayed on the upper left shoulder of all uniforms and great-coats worn by all personnel.
    • Tuchmütze, peaked cloth service cap (althochdeutsch Spessartmütze, "Robin Hood cap")
    • Collar patches, shoulder boards
